VISION + SKILLS + INCENTIVES + RESOURCES + ACTION PLAN= CHANGE
After NBA senior management finalised the 2019 to 2023 strategic plan the need to roll it out compelled the Authority to engage on a 2-day Strategic Plan Launch at Manna Resort, Glen Lorne, Harare. The Authority through the Public Relations Office as well as the Human Resource Department engaged Labour Matters Zimbabwe, to facilitate a Corporate Governance brief as well as conduct a full scale team building exercise. The NBA team composed of managers from different offices around the country, senior managers at head office as well as the board of directors. Labour Matters understood the significance of rolling out such a workshop. Labour Matters believes that no matter how perfect a strategy can be without effective governance that strategy crumples to nothing, hence the importance of corporate governance issues. As individuals no matter how much one may appreciates the strategy working as silos won’t help much thus placing the significance of team building. Against this background labour matters adopted a lecture method, presentations and question and answer sessions in reaching out to participants.
